Nice garden restaurant with delicious good plain food. Typical Frankfurt food such as apple wine or green sauce. Unfortunately only cash payments are possible, but luckily the bank is not far away.

Nice location, good food and a good selection of drinks, but the water at € 4.50 per 0.7L at 31 ° C is really anti-social.

One of the few remaining cider pubs with a nice garden bar and the directly connected Stalburg Theater. Authentic with home-made cider, typical Frankfurt food and changing offers. Always tasty. Favorite place.

There was no free table outside on Fridays and you cannot reserve. Inside, where you can reserve, it is a bit narrow and dark for me. The thick breading on my Frankfurt schnitzel was soaked with fat, as was the fried potato. The green sauce was the best. The wait staff tried hard and I didn't have to wait long. Overall, the place is iconic, but not exactly culinary. Maybe the cider is good.

Restaurant in a 286 year old building. That alone is absolutely worth seeing! Delicious, Frankfurt dishes are served. Authentic, calm, quaint. You should have seen it...

Original Frankfurt kitchen. Very tasty in the time-honored ambience. Then a great play in the directly adjacent Stalburg Theater seen. A beautiful combination of culinary and cultural experience. A good tip for local and foreign guests.

Great place for a Apfelwein and a Schnitzel in low key environment. A Place were the locals go.

Unfortunately, you do not seem to need it here. After an unfriendly welcome, the card was slammed on the table without a word. When we asked the service for a little more friendliness, he refused us to serve, whereupon the place left.

Good restaurant, which of the interior equipment in the time stopped (and I mean in this context in a positive sense). It is still a really nice rustic restaurant, where you can eat excellent Frankfurt home cooking. It's best to combine the whole thing with a visit to the Stalburg Theater.
